Wolf-Face / Caffiends 7″ Split Review

caffiends wolf face split

Old School pop-punk is still alive in Florida, and The Caffiends and Wolf-Face’ split EP will prove it to you. This five track EP will keep your head banging from start to finish with some harsh punk elements, and even provide a chuckle here or there with some genuinely humorous parts mixed in as well.

Orlando’s own Caffiends start off the EP with three tracks “86 My Mind”/ “Blind Them With Dental Floss”/ “Remember to forget. They bring in their own party, pop-punk flavor into this EP by singing about getting drunk and not worrying about anything. With unforgettable bass lines and driving chords, you won’t be able to resist dancing and moshing.

The last two tracks are from St. Petersburg’s Wolf-Face: “Wolves Don’t Box They Kill”/ “Death to the Wolf Poseurs”. Wolf-Face brings the heavier punk sound while still keeping a fun atmosphere by singing about fighting and beating people up. With growling vocals and crazy instrumental change ups, you will want to bang your head ’til the very end of each song.

Fans of MxPX, Misfits, The Dead Milkmen, and The Vandals will definitely want to give this album a listen.
