This weekend is a busy one for the noise/ambient solo act Infinite Third. Billy Mays III recently release a new EP titled Nothing Happened and released a video for the title track exclusively on Zero Warning here. Local DJ Rude 100 will also be spinning some of his beat-laden tracks at the Navigateur show as well as electro-noise producer Alma Contra. Alma Contra is set to release a five song EP titled Colour of Matrys on Formalogic Records some time in the coming months.

The Venture Compound will host a night of local electronic and noise artists Saturday. In addition to another performance by Infinite Third, experimental and elecontronic groups Stoic, Lilith and DC9V will also be performing.

Local punk rock four-piece Doll Parts and noise rock band Zulu Wave will be performing a kickass show Saturday night. It’s been a while since long-time locals Doll Parts has graced us concert goers with their heavy traditional punk sets and who knows when they’ll be back. This show is a can’t miss. Indie pop trio LVLS will also be traveling to Tampa all the way from Hollywood for what they describe as a “free show part orgy.” The band recently released a new single, You and Me, that you can check out on their Sound Cloud here.

Fubar has hosted their bay area hip hop showcase every second Saturday of the month now for a year. That’s why this Saturday there will be a one year celebration with local hip hop artists and live art. Though the details of the celebration remain hush hush, the good people at Fubar are not known for taking celebrations lightly.

Teach Me Equals out of Sarasota will perform the last show of their crazy 18 month tour. The duo’s unique take on lo-fi punk and electro jazz give them a sound very few have replicated. The band also recently did a Grand National Championships session on WMNF 88.5 that you can check out here. Lakeland-based indie pop five piece Poster and Orlando-based rock group Adam and the Plastic will open for Teach Me Equals.
